Do you know that it&#8217;s important to warm up before sliding on the snow? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Warm-up helps prepare your muscles and joints for the physical effort you&#8217;re about to make. If you don&#8217;t warm up properly, you increase the risk of injuries. \ud83d\ude31<\/p>\n\n<p>So, in this post, I&#8217;m going to give you some tips on warm-up and stretching exercises you can do before starting a day of skiing. \ud83e\uddd0<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Warm-up exercises<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The warm-up should last between 10 and 15 minutes.<\/strong> You should start with gentle and progressive exercises, gradually increasing the intensity. \u23f1\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n<p>Here are some warm-up exercises you can do:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Neck turns:<\/mark><\/strong> Gently turn your head to the right, left, up, and down. Repeat 10 times in each direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Shoulder rotations:<\/mark><\/strong> Gently rotate your shoulders forward, backwards, up, and down. Repeat 10 times in each direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Hip rotations:<\/mark><\/strong> Gently rotate your hips to the right, left, forward, and backward. Repeat 10 times in each direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Little jumps:<\/mark><\/strong> Make small jumps from one foot to another, alternating feet. Repeat 10 times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Running in place:<\/mark><\/strong> Run in place, lifting your heels off the ground. Repeat for 30 seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Warm-up exercises&#8217; objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The warm-up exercises have the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase body temperature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve blood circulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare muscles and joints for physical effort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Stretching exercises<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Stretches should be done at the end of warm-up when the muscles are warm. Lean your torso forward, keeping your back straight. Hold the position for 30 seconds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Shoulder stretch:<\/mark><\/strong> Stand with arms extended to the sides. Rotate your shoulders forward, backward, up, and down.
