The maintenance of ski equipment<\/strong><\/mark> is one of the most neglected activities by all of us who ski. <\/p>\n\n

We seem to think that those boards on which we glide through the snow and enjoy ourselves are eternal and indestructible.<\/p>\n\n

But it’s not quite like that, our boards require love to make us enjoy<\/mark><\/strong>. The soles must be well waxed to facilitate sliding, have good edges so that we can guide them easily and we must also verify that the soles do not have deep scratches or holes, since through them water seeps in, leaving humidity inside and deteriorating them.<\/p>\n\n

Steps for the maintenance of ski equipment<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The complete process of material maintenance is composed of 7 steps<\/mark><\/strong> which are the ideal ones to follow if we always want to have our material in perfect conditions.<\/p>\n\n

  • STEP 1-<\/mark> Make base<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • STEP 2- <\/mark>Check for scratches, holes and cover with Cofix<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • STEP 3-<\/mark> Leave the base ready<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • STEP 4-<\/mark> The stone to give it structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • STEP 5-<\/mark> Making edges<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • STEP 6-<\/mark> Waxing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • STEP 7-<\/mark> Finishing – removing excess wax with brush and roller<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
