This coming weekend, from January 19 to 21, the Comapedrosa Andorra Ski Mountaineering World Cup will be held once again.
This year is the 13th edition and we will be able to enjoy it in the Pal-Arinsal slopes of GrandValira Resorts.
Types of events of the World Cup
There will be 3 types of tests
- Individual Race (20/01)– with 3 different routes starting and finishing from the Chalet Igloo in the Arinsal sector.
- Vertical Race– is disputed in two routes, starting at 1,580m and 1,880m and finishing both at 2,330m in the Chalet Igloo. This test is carried out in an integrated way on the slopes of the Arinsal ski area.
In addition, the Open modality Open modalitywhich is open to all ski mountaineering lovers. This race takes place on the same course as the World Cup racers and counts towards the Andorra Ski Mountaineering Cup.
So this weekend in the Arinsal sector, we have a great event! Also, if you want you can participate in the Open test and experience what the professionals experience.
