The documentary
In the documentary – Als peus de La Capa”, which was presented a few months ago, describes in detail the beginnings of the pioneer resort on the northern slope of the Principality of Andorra, which later merged with the ski area of Pal and has recently become part of Gran Valira Resorts.
Fifty years ago, Mr. Serra envisioned that the future of Arinsal and Andorra was based on tourism and, in particular, on snow and nature tourism… He was a visionary!
He embarked on the adventure of creating a ski area by mortgaging his patrimony, time and effort in an area where there were only cows and ravines. Not only did he create the domain, but he also set about creating the access infrastructure.
